Station 3

Located off North Howell Avenue at 3 Rude Way, Station 3 has proudly served the Centereach Fire Department and the surrounding community since its establishment in March 1972.

Home to Engine & Ladder Company 3, the station plays a critical role in protecting the communities of Centereach, Lake Grove, and Selden through rapid emergency response and dedicated service.

Station 3 provides members with the equipment and training needed to respond to a wide variety of incidents including structure fires, vehicle accidents, rescue operations, alarms, and medical emergencies. The combination of engine, ladder, and ambulance services allows the station to support both fire suppression and emergency medical operations throughout the district.

The members of Station 3 are committed to maintaining a high level of training, professionalism, and teamwork while continuing the proud traditions of the Centereach Fire Department. Beyond emergency response, the station serves as a place where members train, collaborate, and build lasting connections while serving the community with pride and dedication.
